Join us for an event the whole family can enjoy. Mark your calendars and be ready for the 8th Annual Priests vs. Seminarians Basketball Game at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Rice University - Tudor Fieldhouse. This annual game has become a beloved tradition for many, and attendees can expect a lively atmosphere filled with cheering, laughter, and good-natured rivalry.
WHEN BUYING TICKETS IN BULK: Buyers are limited to 4 to 8 tickets at a time in all lower sections, and 30 tickets at a time in the upper sections. While we appreciate the fact that many people buy tickets in bulk for their parish, family, and friends, we would really like to fill the stadium on the day of the game. So, we ask that if you have left-over tickets, please ask for a refund as soon as possible. NO REFUNDS AFTER APRIL 1.

ADMISSION
- Have your ticket printed or pulled up on your phone with the QR code visible for quick and easy check in.
- Bags are allowed and there will be a line specific for bag checks to keep lines moving.
- If you need accommodations to get to wheelchair seats, please let the hospitality team know when you arrive.
- No outside food or drink allowed in stadium, including food or drink purchased at the tailgate.
- Not allowed: firearms, fireworks, drugs, alcohol, excessive noise makers (whistles, airhorns, etc.), pets. Only registered service animals allowed.

St. Mary’s Seminary will be selling merchandise. Cash and card are accepted.

FREE parking is located in Lots Greenbriar, 4 and 5. VIP parking reserved for Sponsors and Players.
Parking Lots Opens at 4:00 P.M.
Be sure to tell the parking attendant you are attening the Priests vs. Seminarians Basketball Game to get free parking.

Frequently asked questions
If there are tickets left, yes. We recommend purchasing tickets ASAP - last year's game sold out. All ticket sales are online.
Money raised by the basketball game supports seminarians in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
If the children are small enough to sit on your lap and will not need their own seat, they will not need a ticket.
Unfortunately, Eventbrite does not have the ability to process cash sales or checks. You can use Apple Pay, PayPal, or a credit/debit card.
You may show the QR on your phone, no need to print unless you prefer.

Yes - when checking in, let the hospitality team know you will need accessible ticket directions. Be sure to purchase a handicapped ticket.
You are allowed to bring a bag that will be searched at the door. There is not a clear bag policy.
Rice will provide a concessions menu with meatless options and prices closer to the game.
Concession stands will accept cash and debit/credit cards.
No outside food or beverages will be allowed into the fieldhouse (including food that was purchased at the tailgate).
The seminarian team is made up of seminarians from St. Mary’s Seminary in Houston. The priest team (aka The Martyrs) is composed of priests mainly from the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and few from other orders and dioceses.
Yes, after the game, fans will have the opportunity to talk with players on the court until 9:30 PM.
