Joshua Svajda

My name is Joshua Svajda. I was born and raised in Houston and attend St. John Vianney Parish. I first began feeling God’s call in high school. I had been active in youth formation and this helped me in my discernment. After graduating, I went to Lone Star College in Houston for a few years as I continued discerning God’s call. After getting an associates degree, I applied to the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston as a seminarian and was accepted. I attended St. Joseph’s Seminary College in Louisiana for two years and entered St. Mary’s Seminary in the fall of 2021.
