Theodore Birkofer

I can thank God, and my parents, for two things: I was born a Roman Catholic and a Houston Astros fan. I’ve also been blessed to live in Houston my whole life, attending parochial school growing up and then Houston’s premier all-boys high school: St. Thomas. Next, I studied Philosophy and Religion at Hillsdale College which was, until seminary, the highlight of my life. In college, I sensed the Lord calling me to something great, as indeed He calls all of us to do great things. In prayer before the Blessed Sacrament I realized that He might be calling me to the priesthood, and, to that end, I have followed Him to seminary for the adventure of a lifetime.
